Job Description
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses to provide critical care to patients facing emergency situations. Our ED nurses must be prepared to manage a diverse range of medical and trauma cases, ensuring prompt assessment and appropriate prioritization of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Quickly assess incoming patients with various physical and mental health needs.
- Formulate effective nursing care plans based on clinical knowledge and analytical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of one full year of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certified.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Telemetry and NIHSS certifications.
- CEU Contact Stroke - 4 hours.
