Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patient needs.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and assist with patient care based on physicians' directives.
- Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessments and interventions.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
- Document care in alignment with standards of care and patient acuity.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices in patient care.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent and strong Med-Surg experience.
- BLS certification must be from AHA.
