Job Description: PCU RN - Nights
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. This role is vital in providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting.
Shift Details- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours every other weekend (EOW)
- Contract Length: 53 weeks
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a PCU setting.
- Float down to Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) as needed.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1 or 7:1.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform monitoring and assessment of patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience; Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
- Licensure: Current NJ Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS Certification
- All candidates must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 (including one booster).
