**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
**Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Weekends & Holidays:** Every other weekend and holidays required
**On-Call:** No

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) department. The RN will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and providing compassionate, patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing standards. This position requires a commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians in implementing patient care plans.
- Identify patient needs and prioritize care through thorough assessments.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage the care of assigned patients and maintain accurate documentation based on clinical priorities and standards of care.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support the adoption of innovative care delivery methods.
- Provide high-quality care that aligns with professional nursing practice models.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).
- Proficient in EPIC documentation system.
- Strong assessment, planning, and implementation abilities.

**Education:**
- Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

**Certifications & Licensure:**
- Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license
- NRP certification
- Preferred:
- ACLS
- Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification
