Travel RN Position - AM Shift
Location: Morristown, NJ
This is a 13-week contract position.
We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience in large facilities to provide high-quality patient care during the AM shift, from 7 AM to 7 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Job Description
The Travel RN will be responsible for delivering appropriate nursing care across all stages of growth and development, from Pediatric to Geriatric patients. This role includes performing thorough assessments, providing direct patient care, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic and comprehensive patient assessments.
- Demonstrate competent clinical skills in delivering nursing care.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient progress and care.
- Act professionally and adhere to policies and procedures while identifying areas for growth.
- Foster patient and family satisfaction by promoting a positive care environment.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals and employ safe transfer techniques.
- Individualize patient care according to procedures and anesthesia types.
- Communicate effectively to assess patient understanding of surgical procedures and provide education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel RN in large facilities.
- Current RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
