This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts. Every Other Weekend Required (Saturday & Sunday). No Holiday Requirement and No On-Call Requirement.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and ensuring care is patient-centric and aligned with professional nursing practice models.

• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician medical diagnosis, and health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care in accordance with standards of care and patient acuity.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• May float to units within competency as required.

• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
• ACLS - AHA Certification.
• NIHSS Certification.
• BLS - AHA Certification.
• Telemetry Certification.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
