Registered Nurse Position

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 3 x 12 hours/week
• Every Other Weekend Required
• 3 out of 6 Holidays Required
• No On-Call Requirement

Qualifications Experience

• Required: 1+ year of experience in related specialty.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience.

Education

• Required: ASN.
• Preferred: BSN.

Certifications & Licensure

• Required:
  • BLS-AHA
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
  • NRP
• Preferred:
  • ACLS
  • Advanced AWHONN or EFM
