Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Lab

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients while addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab.
• Continuously monitor and record patients' conditions while in the lab.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions.
• Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory management.
• Ensure the procedure room and equipment are functioning and ready for use.
• Obtain and manage supplies necessary for individual cases.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire, with maintenance of current status required.
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.

Health and Professional Requirements:

• COVID-19 Vaccine required.
• Required immunizations include MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and a TB Test.
• Driver's License/State ID required.
• Successful completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam and Rhythm Interpretation Screening upon onboarding.
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Skills Checklist is required.
• Background check and compliance with employment eligibility verification are mandatory.
