Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients in a Level III high-risk facility, including responsibilities on the High Risk Obstetric unit. The RN may also float to nearby lower-volume hospitals as needed, ensuring care remains within their scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurse care to patients in Labor and Delivery, focusing on high-risk obstetric patients.
- Monitor the condition of patients and provide updates to the care team.
- Float to other units as required, primarily to High Risk OB, while adhering to practice standards.
- Participate in continuous training and pass requisite tests, including Dysrhythmia testing.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2.5-3 years of current experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Active New Jersey nursing license required.
- Current certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
- Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing.
