Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend night shift assignment, requiring ARRT(CT) and NM State License.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT scan/X-ray department
• Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols
• 12-hour night shifts on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating between departments or to facilities within 20 miles may be required
• Patient population details are not specified
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Must wait at least one year after perm staff employment to be eligible for rehire as a traveler
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Pass/Fail testing is primarily for nurses and is not required for this CT Tech position
• Orientation will be provided on the first day
• Responsibilities include reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizing exams, and effective communication of critical findings
• Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures is expected

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years current CT technologist experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current BLS certification from AHA, American Red Cross, or ASHI required
• Primary ARRT certification and ARRT(CT) required
• New Mexico State License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
