Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Telemetry position in New Mexico requiring a compact or NM RN license and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in a medical surgical combination unit with telemetry monitoring
- Hospital setting caring for adult patients requiring medical and surgical interventions
- Night shift schedule from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsible for providing telemetry nursing care to a diverse medical surgical patient population
- COVID vaccination card required
- Standard hospital dress code applies
- Team-based nursing environment with collaboration among staff
Requirements
- Active NM or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical surgical telemetry unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be valid and not RQI
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Primary residence must be more than 60 miles from the assignment location
- Cannot be employed full time at another position
