Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position with EPIC EMR experience and current NYS RN license required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Care for critically ill pediatric patients
- EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for all candidates
- No blocked scheduling is allowed
- Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of specified counties
- Must pass required ICU competency testing with up to two attempts
- All call outs above three in 13 weeks require make-up shifts within six weeks or may lead to termination
- Requested time off must be submitted with the application
- Travel pairs are not allowed
- Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
Requirements
- Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Pediatric ICU
- Current certifications from AHA or RQI (must bring copies)
- Documented experience with EPIC EMR required
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted)
- Only medical FLU exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted
