Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments and care for both new mothers post vaginal or C-section deliveries and their infants, ensuring both mother and baby are monitored effectively.
Responsibilities- Conduct post-partum assessments for mothers following delivery.
- Care for new mothers, providing support and education on post-delivery recovery.
- Monitor infants, conducting frequent assessments, including weights and bilirubin issue monitoring.
- Provide assistance with lactation if applicable.
- Float to units within competencies as required.
- Must possess a valid NYS nursing license at the time of submission.
- Current certifications in NRP and BLS are required.
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
