MRI Technologist Position

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology and have prior experience in operating MRI machines. You will work full-time for the first two weeks before transitioning to a weekend shift. Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort and safety during scans, coordinating with physicians, and performing necessary patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedures to help them feel comfortable
Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
Perform patient care tasks as needed

Shift

You will be required to work 40 hours for the first two weeks, followed by a solo weekend shift beginning September 6-7. Flexibility to work day and/or evening shifts during orientation may be necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is a must
Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization is preferred
