Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced tertiary care hospital environment. This position involves managing a patient load of 1:5 to 1:7, ensuring high-quality care and monitoring patient needs using Epic charting systems.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vitals and health status
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic
- Assist with patient mobility and daily activities
- New York RN License (in hand) is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute care setting within the last 6 months
- Previous charge experience is required
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- No first-time U.S. assignments
- Ability to float to different units as needed
