Schedule
The position requires a rotating schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 and day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Availability for holidays is also a requirement.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. As a crucial member of the healthcare team, the ER RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, including triage and assessment.
- Administer medication and treatments as per established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
- Manage critical patient conditions and perform emergency interventions.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Epic.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid New York nursing license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred), TNCC (preferred).
- Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.
