ScheduleD/E/N rotating shift schedules, every other weekend, holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit needs.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in moderate sedation within the Main Operating Room. The ideal candidate will care for a diverse range of patients across various specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. As a Level 1 trauma center, we utilize advanced technologies, including two Davinci robots for multi-service procedures, and support a transplant program focusing on liver, kidney, and heart transplants.
Responsibilities- Administer moderate sedation and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgical teams across multiple specialties.
- Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Assist in preparing the surgical environment and equipment.
- Partake in emergency response procedures as required.
- RN License (New York ONLY)
- Moderate Sedation Experience Required
- IR Experience Required
- Two (2) years of OR experience preferred, especially in a Level 1 trauma setting.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
