PACU Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role is essential in providing post-operative care for adult patients in a high volume and acuity setting within a level 1 trauma center.
Position Details- Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), including holidays and weekends. On-call and call-back may be required.

- Recover post-operative adult patients in a fast-paced nursing environment.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Demonstrate high standards of communication and positivity in patient care.
- Work independently and manage multiple cases with varying levels of acuity.
- Licensure: RN License (New York only)
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years nursing experience required; PACU experience required, ICU experience preferred.
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Previous experience in ICU settings highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage complex patient needs.
