Position OverviewThis is a 13-week contract position.
Shift Details- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg, with 26 beds
MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Locals Accepted: No, candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.
- BLS Required
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response:
- Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:
- Peripheral Line Care and Management
- Respiratory Support:
- Nasal Cannula, Oxygen Face Masks, Portable Oxygen Tanks, Non-invasive Airway Management
- Isolation Precautions
- Type of Facility: Tertiary Care Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 528
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy and white
- Charting System: Epic
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency in EPIC Charting System is a hard requirement
Candidates may be required to float to various units as needed.
