Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated MICU Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The nursing professional will care for critically ill patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, and multiple organ failures. The candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of critical care procedures and be proficient in managing complex patient conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care activities using Epic charting system.
- Must have an active New York State license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in MICU.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
