ICU Nurse - Night Shift

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse for a night shift position. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in critical care nursing and be prepared to work during the holiday season, including two of the three major holidays. Housing in the area can be expensive in fall, and resources are available for those who need assistance securing housing.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs.
- Float within the skill set as directed by management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct EKG readings and respond to emergencies within the unit.
- Must have at least three years of current ICU nursing experience.
- Valid New York State Nursing License required at the time of submission.
- Must possess current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
- Required to pass a hospital proctored test for rhythm identification with >80% accuracy.
