Mental Health Unit RN

• Shift Type: Night, 3x12-Hour
• Shift Hours: 19:00 - 07:30

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mental Health Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient Mental Health Unit (MHU) or Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) experience, coupled with a current New York state license.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a mental health setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Assist in crisis intervention and patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using Epic or similar systems.
• Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as required.
• Float to other units within the hospital as necessary based on patient care needs.

• License: Current New York State RN License.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inpatient Mental Health settings.
• Certifications: BLS certification required.
• Travel Experience: Preferred.
• Geographic Restrictions: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Qualified candidates will undergo an EKG proficiency exam and additional training modules prior to the start date. This role requires commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
