Unit Information- Location: Mission Main Campus / D Corridor

This inpatient overflow unit provides a mixed level of care for both medical surgical and step-down patients. The unit is designed for short-stay patients with a target length of stay of 24 hours, ensuring quick turnover.
Staffing Information- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6, dependent on level of care
- Telemetry: Patients hardwired to bedside monitors if indicated
- EMR: Cerner
- Telemetry competency
- Progressive Care experience
- Recent progressive care experience
The unit performs various medical procedures tailored to the needs of both medical surgical and progressive care patients.

- Floating Areas: Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed.
- Dress Code: Scrub color/attire - Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white.
- Weekends: Every other weekend required; no call required.
