- Number of Beds: 44 beds
- Number of Staff: 95 staff members
Typical staff on the unit includes:
- Day Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
- Night Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
Patient Ratios: 4/1 at grid, 5/1 stretched
Equipment Utilized on Unit- IV Pumps
- Skylift
- PCA Pump
- Chest Tube
- Trachs
- Patient Lifts
The unit utilizes Cerner for EMR.
QualificationsRequired Skills:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Neuro and Trauma Care experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care
- Neuro and spinal checks
- C-Collar placement & TLSO braces
- Chest tube and PCA pump management
- IV infusions
- Lumber drain and feeding tube placement
- Blood transfusions

Work ScheduleThis position requires working every other weekend.
Positions Available4 positions available as part of contract replacement with guaranteed hours over a contract period of 91 weeks.
