Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Must have previous interventional radiology (IR) experience with both scrub and circulating responsibilities
• Must have Cath Lab experience
• Must have moderate sedation experience
• Previous neurointerventional radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)
• Work in interventional radiology department with 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)
• Day shift operates with 2 techs per room and 1 nurse per room
• Night shift operates with 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Use Cerner (Radnet) electronic medical record system
• Work with single plane GE equipment, biplane Philips equipment, and one invasive CT scanner
• Perform procedures including dialysis work, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Work every 7th weekend
• One night secondary call during the week
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Must maintain BLS certification
• Must be flexible and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
• May float to VOR when needed
