Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. This role is focused on providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting, ensuring patient safety and effective communication throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient records and documentation using the Cerner system.
- Participate in triage and manage patient flow effectively.
- Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff and support personnel.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
- Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED is preferred.
- Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work in all areas of the Emergency Department as needed.
