· Number of Beds – 38
· Number of Staff – see below
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 1 LPN, 3 PCTs, 1 unit secretary
o Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 LPN, 2-3 PCTs, HUC for part of the shift
· Patient Ratios – 6:1, Goal is for charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist. Night stretch ratios is 7:1.
· Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, primo-fits
· EMR – Cerner Powerchart
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- 2 years Telemetry-Medical/surgical nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH required
- Needs to have experience with extremely busy facilities.
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Charge nurse experience

· Other standard medical surgical skills

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

· Weekends: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
