- Number of Beds – 38
- Number of Staff – see below
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 1 LPN, 3 PCTs, 1 unit secretary
- Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 LPN, 2-3 PCTs, HUC for part of the shift
- Patient Ratios – 6:1, Goal is for charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist. Night stretch ratios is 7:1.
- Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, primo-fits
- EMR – Cerner Powerchart
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- 2 years experience
- Medical/surgical nursing experience
- Telemetry
- ACLS, BLS, NIH
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Charge nurse experience

Dress Code:
- Scrub Color/Attire – all navy, all white, or white top and navy pants, navy or white undershirts if needed.
Unit Guidelines/Policies:
- Travelers float before permanent staff.
Weekends and On call (if any)
- Weekends: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
