Unit InformationUnit: Inpatient Overflow Unit (mixed medical surgical and step-down patients)
Number of Beds: 20
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 or 1:6, stretch dependent on level of care
- Telemetry Monitoring (all patients hardwired to bedside monitor if indicated)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Cerner
- Must Have:
- Telemetry Competency
- Progressive Care Experience
- Preferred: Recent Progressive Care Experience
We are looking for candidates who are kind, compassionate, patient experience focused, and team players who work well with others.
Certifications- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Travelers will be required to float to other units as needed.
Dress CodeScrub Color/Attire: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white.
Work Schedule- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Contract Length: 91 weeks
