Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that caters to patients of all ages, including special care populations such as cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, including blood product administration and IV management.
- Perform critical assessments, interpret data, and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Epic charting system experience is required.
- Must be prepared to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
- License in hand required at the time of submission.
