Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience and an active license for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
Work schedule is 5x8 hour shifts or a possible alternative schedule
Patient rehabilitation programs focused on improving mobility, function, and strength
Supervisory responsibilities include oversight of PT Assistants and Aides
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising support staff, and ensuring accurate documentation
Must be familiar with Medicare, worker’s comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay billing procedures
Required to protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
Expected to comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations
No travel between sites is required for this position

Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy required
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in physical therapy, preferably outpatient
Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina required if applicable
Proficient computer skills for EMR documentation and patient charting
Ability to be physically mobile and lift up to 50 pounds
