MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)

MRI Tech needed asap for 13 weeks REQUIRED SKILLS: The MRI Technologist I perform procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Operates MRI Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency. High volume, level III trauma center, stroke center, Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT (MR) required. BLS (AHA or ARC) required. Physical Requirements: Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation. Black Scrubs

Certifications: MR-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
