Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift in the Acute Care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and assistance during overnight hours, ensuring optimum levels of health and comfort for our patients.

Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Nursing Staff:
    • Day Shift: 4-5 RNs, 2-3 PCTs
    • Night Shift: 4-5 RNs, 2-3 PCTs
  • Patient Ratios:
    • MedSurg: 6:1 (occasionally 7:1)
    • ICU: Typically more step-down than ICU patients, 4:1
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience
  • At least 1 travel assignment prior
  • Must hold certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior ICU experience
Typical Procedures Performed:
  • Thoracentesis
  • Vent management
  • Arterial lines
  • Central line insertions
  • Dressing changes
