Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with independent MBS and FEES competency and at least 1 year of acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Acute care rehab setting
- Will work between multiple main locations
- Provides a minimum of one patient per hour
- Performs 8 treatments per 8 hour shift
- Position requires independent completion of Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
- Holiday time off is not permitted, including the day before and after holidays
- Responsible for conducting swallowing evaluations and managing a full treatment caseload
- Must manage schedule and documentation effectively in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Proficiency in performing MBS and FEES independently
- At least 1 year of acute care experience is required
- License required if applicable
