Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical setting and be capable of managing telemetry patients.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform EKGs and be prepared to pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
- Manage peripheral line care and starting IVs.
- Administer blood products and manage isolation precautions.
- Participate in patient education and rehabilitation efforts.
- May serve as Charge RN if required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
- BLS certification required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to float to other units or campuses as needed.
