Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse with a focus on geriatric care and inpatient rehabilitation experience for our Acute Care unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced skills in wound care and provide high-quality patient care in an affluent community setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients and swing bed patients.
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and management.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- ACLS and CPI certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience in geriatric care and/or inpatient rehabilitation is mandatory.
- Strong wound care skills and knowledge of med/surg procedures.
