Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic team on our 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit, caring for a diverse patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a typical ratio of 1 to 6.
- Administer insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips as needed.
- Assist in managing IMCU patients based on census requirements.
- Float to like acuity areas or less if necessary.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI required.
- Proficient in managing medical conditions outlined in the patient population.
- Education verification is required at the time of submission.
