Job DescriptionThis position involves working in a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit with a variety of patient populations, including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent patient care as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Administer insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips proficiently
- Monitor IMCU patients as required based on census
- Participate in weekend and holiday shifts
- Float to like acuities or less when necessary
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Truncated Compliance and CPI necessary
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1 to 6
- Experience with charting systems is a plus
