**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Nurse to join our healthcare team in Marion, North Carolina. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and comfort.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed for patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring clear communication regarding patient status and care procedures.
- Maintain patient records and documentation using Cerner electronic health record system.
- Participate in team rounds and contribute to strategy discussions for patient care improvements.

**Qualifications:**
- Current and valid nursing license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Minimum of one year of ICU experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

**Unit Specifics:**
- **Number of Beds:** 23
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
- **Staffing Description:** 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on day shifts, 2 PCTs on night shifts
- **Dress Code:** Navy scrub color required
