Facility OverviewJoin a 137-bed acute care hospital located in Sanford, NC, known for its quality and compassionate healthcare. With nearly 200 providers and 525 employees, the facility has been serving the residents of Lee County since 1981. The hospital is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, providing a wide range of specialties such as cardiology, orthopedics, and emergency medicine.
Position Details- Unit: Med/Surg 232
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Patient Ratios: Based on unit standards
- Patient Population: All ages
- Hiring Manager: Gabrielle Nixon, Director of Inpatient Services
- Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI/HWC/MAB (Crisis Prevention Institute/Healthcare Worker Certification/Management of Assaultive behavior)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Education: Valid RN license to practice in North Carolina.
- Dress Code: Scrub color of the traveler's choice; no casual wear permitted.
The hospital has an extensive onboarding process with weekly orientation every Monday. Position may include float requirements as needed.
