Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and be comfortable floating across various medical/surgical floors. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing telemetry patients, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patient conditions, especially telemetry patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Current BCLS certification required; ACLS and NIH certifications preferred.
- Must have recent hospital experience and proficiency in telemetry monitoring.
- NC or Compact license required in hand at the time of start.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
