Job Opportunity: Electrophysiology Lab Circulatory Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Circulatory Tech for a 13-week contract in a dynamic hospital setting located in City, State. The ideal candidate will hold at least two years of relevant experience and be adept in both circulating and scrubbing roles within the EP lab.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Day Shift (4x10 hours)
• Hours: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours

Unit Information

The Electrophysiology Lab handles an average of 10-16 cases per day, primarily catering to adult and geriatric patients. The candidate will float to the Cath Lab as needed and can expect a comprehensive orientation for 3 days upon starting.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Electrophysiology or related field
• Traveler Experience: Not accepting first-time travelers; local candidates are welcome
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS
• Skills:
  • Circulate and Scrub Procedures
  • Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
  • Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
  • Isolation Precautions

Additional Information

No weekend coverage is required, and candidates must be prepared to float to other units based on patient needs and skill sets. Residents within 50 miles may incur a rate adjustment.

We offer 7 days of auto-approved time off (RTO) unless it falls on a holiday. Candidates will need to be flexible in their floating assignments and should expect to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Orientation requires the candidate to be available during their first week.
