Job Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse
Shift Details:Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
Duration: 16-17 Weeks
We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. This role involves circulating and scrubbing during procedures, allowing you to utilize your expertise in managing dysrhythmias and coordinating patient care effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Circulate and scrub during electrophysiology procedures.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, ensuring patient safety and care.
- Float to the Cath Lab as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab.
- Traveler experience is required; this unit does not accept first-time travelers.
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS.
- Experience with EP systems such as Pyxis and EPIC is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
This role primarily involves working with adult and geriatric patients, managing an average of 10-16 cases per day.
Additional Information:- Orientation: 3 days of orientation provided.
- Scrubs will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
- No weekend requirement; however, must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Candidate must be comfortable floating as needed within the facility.
- NC or Compact license is acceptable; must be in hand by start date.
