Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a permanent OH or compact license and recent hospital experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Use of Qualivis – Lotus for submitting worked hours
- May be required to float based on clinical experience
- Responsibilities include delivering care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments, with two attempts allowed to pass
- Onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting required prior to start date
- Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
- Past permanent or per diem candidates must wait at least 1 year from previous Cleveland Clinic hospital employment to return
Requirements
- Active permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start required
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Must provide one supervisory reference in the specialty for consideration
- No open background check cases or license disciplinary actions accepted
