Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse with a minimum of 18 months recent experience in an operating room setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in scrubbing and circulating various surgical cases, including robotic, GU, GYN, and General surgeries. This role requires a team player who is adept at maintaining accurate counts and handling specimens. Candidates must also be willing to take call on nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate various surgical cases.
- Ensure accurate counts of instruments and supplies.
- Handle specimens appropriately and follow protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
- Be available for call on nights and weekends as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent OR experience prior to travel.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
- Must have an active Ohio nursing license at the time of submission.
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
- Passing score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation is required.
