Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse with recent experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification prior to start
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area is required
