CVICU Registered Nurse Position

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNight and Day shifts available: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30 or 07:00 - 19:30). The schedule typically consists of 2 weeks on Days followed by 2 weeks on Nights, depending on the operational needs of the hospital.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cardiovascular intensive care and be able to adapt to rotating shifts. This position requires a high level of clinical skill and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced CVICU environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions; respond to changes in status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and comply with medication safety protocols.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU before applying for the travel assignment.
- Must possess an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
