Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in behavioral health nursing within an acute care setting. This role involves milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive behavioral health care in an acute care environment.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Manage medication administration and monitor patient responses.
- Implement milieu management techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
- Minimum of 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in an acute care setting.
- A permanent Ohio nursing license is required prior to submission.
- Active AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
- One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores.
