American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a night shift oncology unit requiring schedule flexibility and strong cardiac monitoring skills.

• Work on a Med/Surg Oncology Telemetry unit specializing in oncology patient care
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• No set schedule, weekends, or block scheduling; complete schedule determined by the facility
• Patient ratio is typically 1:4
• Primary patient population includes oncology patients needing continuous cardiac monitoring, chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and comorbidity care
• Required to float to units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Utilizes B450 GE telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds
• Epic experience required for documentation
• Focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
• Responsibilities include managing patients with soft tissue malignancies and administering chemotherapy
• Must participate in multidisciplinary team approach for comprehensive patient care
• Must adhere to rigorous safety and protocol standards for oncology and telemetry care
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BCLS certification required
• Strong skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias, port access, arterial line and central line management, blood product and IV administration, assistance with chest tube procedures, PICC line management, and high flow nasal cannula
• Ability to interpret ABGs required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Flexibility with scheduling is required
