American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift contract requiring a compact or OH RN license and Epic experience.

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Covers patient populations including General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics cases
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• No on-call obligations
• Uses the Epic electronic medical record system
• Responsibilities include caring for patients in medical, surgical, and telemetry areas, as well as supporting floating assignments
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing per credentialing requirements
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Availability for requested time off (RTO) must be included with contract consideration
• Former employees are eligible if separated for at least 6 months; current Ohio State University hospital employees are not eligible

• Active OH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate-level nursing skills
• Epic EMR experience required
• Degree must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Must provide 2 professional references, at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor
